Dash Cams in Forestry Haul Operations

Here's a freelance piece I shot and edited recently. Thanks to Pascale Simard at Alpha Presse for the opportunity.

Man, the amount of puzzle pieces that went into this video was nuts. Suffice it to say, I'm glad it came together as well as it did.

A tree crashed down on this kid when he was hiking with his parents. It took out the catwalk on the side of a canyon where he was walking, and left him fighting for his life.

I really enjoyed working on this piece. There are so many longer-form stories that could be broken out from what this guy does, but I managed to cram it all into a short window. I hope you like it.

Ted's resume reads like this: robot surgeon, blood transporter, helmet repairman, 3D-printing hobbyist, etc. And that's just one day of work.

Here's a video I did while in Saskatchewan recently about an awesome little kid who's making remarkable progress in her recovery after a piece of farm equipment fell on her head two years ago.
